My name is Ramin and I Am An Alcoholic….

Sorry wrong audience! Champions league has started, and all the excitement has come back. The talk with friends all week has pretty much been about the Champions League, better known as the trophy Chelsea have failed to win even after spending £350m+, but that’s another debate. Who will win this year’s champions league?

My friend Darren said- ‘Chelsea… Mourinho knows he needs it so he will do his best to win it’

My friend Pete said- ‘Man Utd… Fergie wants to win it one more time before he retires’

And my friend Behfar said- ‘Real Madrid… they have bought sensibly for once and it will come to aid them this year in the champions league’

The truth is, nowadays no-one knows. Apart from me. This year no ‘surprise package’ will win it… either Real Madrid or Chelsea will win it. Why? Because they will. More seriously, Mourinho is edging closer to being sacked by Roman. Roman has done something this season we have never seen him do; walk out after Chelsea let in a goal. This was done after Villa scored their second goal at Villa Park a few weeks ago.

Madrid, as my friend Behfar says, have spent accordingly. They thrashed Villarreal 5-0 on the opening weekend and are top of the table. They also have the new Di Stefano, otherwise known as Sneijder. Sneijder was a rough diamond in need of a big stage to show his talent off. And he’s doing that. He has been in top form, his free kicks are excellent, his pace is good, and his football brain is even better.

Chelsea will always be there somewhere, it is only a matter of time before they win it, and this year might be it. If Mourinho doesn’t win it, he will go. He will not get sacked, Mourinho CANNOT get sacked, it will break his ego, it would crush him and he would never be able to show his face again. He will walk.

Roman will say, ‘Listen Jose, you either go or I sack you, we cannot afford to waste another season without the trophy that gives me turnover on the money I put into this team’. Jose will walk and if Spurs do not get Ramos – which I will write an article on later, the whole Levy/Ramos/Jol story has been a comedy- then Juande Ramos will take over. Otherwise Hiddink will. Roman likes Hiddink and Hiddink likes Roman. It’s a perfect match made in heaven.
